The national law for medical devices in Estonia is the Medical Devices Act RT I 2004, 75, 520, which was amended on 26.05.2021 to comply with the MDR 2017/745. Although the MDR as all EU Regulations does not need transposition in the national law of the Member States, the Estonian Medical Devices Act regulates areas of the MDR that are under the discretion of the Member States.
